Last Weekend Michael signed Julian up for a tractor pull at the county fair. He was very excited about it, even though he had never seen one before. Come to think of it, Julian would be excited about anything involving a tractor. So, saturday, even though it was raining, we headed to the fair grounds for Julian's tractor pull debut ( luckily it was held under a shelter). Julian totally fit the part, he had his favorite camo hat on and his cowboy boots, new cowboy boots I should mention. He has been wearing his other pair for two years they have to be hurting his feet by now. Anyway, since he was such a light weight, yes they weigh in for the competition, he was in the first class. He was the third to ride, it was so cute! It was so hard for the little guys to pull they didn't even make it to the 5' marker. So there was no apparent winner, we had to wait to find out after all the classes had finished competing. And to our surprise Julian had placed second, winning a beautiful, gold tractor trophe. He is so proud of that trophe.

Julian says, " I think they can, cause really they are my friends." - on sharing the trophe on weekends. :)
