Stair Sliding!

On Tuesday I babysat Alex and Hannah while their Mommy was at the hospital having their baby brother. I had to get creative trying to keep 4 children, ages 4 and under, busy. This was the sure winner for the day, stair sliding. I demonstrated for everyone first and I was shocked how fast I went sliding down the stairs in the sleeping bag. So, when the kids did it I stood at the bottom of the stairs and caught them. Hannah looked scared to death, until she reached my arms and then she smiled.

I was taking a picture of Julian "surfing" but by the time I snapped it he had thrown in a Kung Foo kick as well :)

" I Know, I am a hottie, watch out girls!"

Afternoons in the Sprinkler

In summers past we always went to the pool. There was a really nice one just for young children a t Phelps Park in Springfield that I would take Julian to. However, this summer for various reasons: gas is too expensive, I do not know where a good pool is at, and well okay I don't have a swim suit that I like, we have only went swimming once. So on hot and muggy days I pull out the sprinler for the boys. They love it and I have just as much fun watching them play in it. Origannly I had planned on joining them, I wen outside with my swimsuit and shorts on, but it was FREEZING! They do not even seem to notice.

Michael's Job Site

Here is Michael's Job Site; he is woriking on St. Luke's Hospital down by the Plaza in Kansas City. Everyone asks me what my husband does for work; I guess its because we are in a new town and everyone is just curious. Anyway, I decided to post some pictures of Mike's job site just so everyone could get an idea of what he does. Plus it is exciting since it is such a big job.

Adorable When Sleepy

I am most in love with my children when they are sleepy; is that terrible?

Meet Our New Addition: Piper

So, here is our little love bird, Piper. He is a cutie but awfully shy. We have had him for almost a month now, and he warms up some days. I waited a month longer to get him because he was supposed to be a hand fed baby, which means they are supposed to be more comfortable with people, friendlier etc. But I have not seen that pay off yet. The boys like him, Elias needs to work on being a little more gentle, surprise surprise, right.
